Walmart Global Tech’s AI Transformation & Controls (ATAC) team seeks a Digital Accountant to drive automation, AI enablement, and data-driven insights within Controllership and Global Internal Controls.

You will execute automation initiatives, implement AI-enabled solutions, and coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Finance, Controllership, and Technology to deliver compliant, efficient digital accounting processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, data science, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience working in cross-functional or matrixed environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.
• R2R process knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Execute automation initiatives by preparing data inputs, configuring automation tools, and delivering digitized journal entries, reconciliations, reports, and controls.
• Implement AI-enabled solutions in partnership with Controllership and Operational Accounting, supporting solution testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Support day-to-day implementation of Digital Accountant workflows, ensuring processes operate effectively and resolving issues or blockers in coordination with project teams.
• Provide hands-on guidance to EBS team members on automation platforms and ensure accounting and control requirements are consistently met through execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Finance, Controllership, and Technology to keep tasks on track, maintain documentation, and drive timely completion of deliverables.
