Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking an entry-level Stress Intern to support the structural integrity analysis of airframe components. You will assist in static and fatigue analysis under the guidance of experienced engineers, applying foundational engineering principles to real aerospace challenges.

This internship covers load-path analysis, metal and composite designs, and collaboration with cross-functional and international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field, preferably in 7th semester.
• Basic understanding of load paths and airframe design with metals and composites.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• English communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Investigate design improvements and support improvement initiatives related to airframe structures.
• Support airframe structural design activities with metals and composites under supervision.
• Analyze load paths and structural behavior to support solutions for aerospace applications.
• Assist development, evaluation, and improvement of structural designs and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on objectives and project requirements.
• Maintain records and communicate technical information clearly.
