Collins Aerospace in Mexicali is seeking an aerospace structural analyst to conduct stress and fatigue analyses of components. You will use both hand calculations and FEA tools to assess design integrity, and you will develop documentation that supports engineering decisions and international collaboration.

The role requires a mechanical or aerospace engineering degree with 2+ years of related experience; proficiency in NASTRAN/PATRAN, and strong English communication.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, or similar software.
• Experience with load paths and airframe design using metals and composites.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct stress and fatigue analysis of aerospace components.
• Perform structural analysis using both hand calculations and computer-based methods.
• Develop and document structural activities to assess product integrity.
• Work with engineering teams and stakeholders across international locations.
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Communicate problems, issues, and opportunities to peers and supervision.
