Collins Aerospace in Mexicali, MX is seeking a Stress Intern to support structural integrity analyses for aerospace components. This entry-level role involves applying foundational engineering principles under the direct supervision of experienced engineers.

You will investigate design improvements, analyze load paths, and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement efforts related to airframe structures.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of load paths and airframe design using metallic and composite materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate design improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives related to airframe structures and engineering processes.
• Responsible for supporting airframe structural design activities involving metallic and composite materials, under senior engineers’ supervision.
• Analyze load paths and structural behavior to support engineering solutions for aerospace applications.
• Support the development, evaluation, and improvement of structural designs and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on engineering objectives and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate technical information effectively.
