Collins Aerospace Mexicali location is seeking a seasoned Structural Analysis Engineer to perform analyses for aircraft components using hand calculations and FEA tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams during concept through production and participate in design reviews.

The role emphasizes delivering technically sound solutions, documenting results in clear reports, and contributing to process improvements while supporting aerospace programs globally.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years aerospace structural stress analysis experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience using classical hand calculations and FEA tools for structural analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural analyses for aircraft components using hand calculations and FEA to evaluate strength, stiffness, durability, and damage tolerance.
• Develop technical solutions for complex structural challenges applying analytical methods and simulation tools.
• Support product development by providing structural analysis during concept through production and by participating in design reviews.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation communicating analysis results and design decisions clearly.
• Contribute to process improvements and tool development across engineering teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Valid U.S. travel visa for business travel and training purposes.
