Honeywell Aerospace in Mexicali, MX is seeking a Mech Design Engineer II to contribute to the design and development of mechanical solutions for aerospace applications. You will apply your engineering knowledge and CAD expertise to create high-quality components and assemblies that meet stringent standards.

You will report to the Senior Mechanical Design Manager within Aerospace Engineering and Technology, in a hybrid work arrangement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies relevant to aerospace applications
• Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO or NX, and experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools
• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications
• Familiarity with aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards
• Advanced English-speaking language.

• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies according to specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Support results presented in design reviews with the appropriate documentation to meet program deliverables and requirements.
