Belcan Corporation in Querétaro, MX seeks an Aerospace Lead Design Engineer to drive mechanical design for aircraft engine components through all development stages. You will translate requirements into practical solutions, perform analyses, and guide cross‑functional teams.

You will collaborate with design, stress, materials, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and test teams to resolve design and process issues while maintaining schedule and cost goals. Bilingual English/Spanish is valued.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in aerospace or regulated mechanical products.
• Strong fundamentals in statics, materials, and structural concepts.
• Good knowledge of GD&T, drawings, tolerances, and dimensional requirements.
• Experience with aerospace design/analysis and engine exteriors preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, spoken and written.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and evaluate mechanical designs for aircraft engine components and systems.
• Support the full product development cycle from requirements to maturity.
• Consider structural integrity, functionality, durability, weight, producibility, cost.
• Perform engineering analyses including static strength, thermal effects, fatigue.
• Evaluate interfaces, fits, tolerances, joints, and assembly conditions.
• Apply GD&T and tolerance stack-ups to drawings and specs.
• Select materials and processes based on performance and cost.
• Contribute to manufacturing and inspection definitions and documentation.
• Support RCA for mechanical failures and field/service findings.
• Communicate technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Track progress and manage technical risks to meet objectives.
