Strattec Security Corporation - México is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer to lead new product introductions and process validation. You will establish baselines using APQP, PPAP, and customer-specific requirements while coordinating across design, manufacturing, and supplier teams.

Responsibilities include developing control plans, inspecting GD&T compliance, and driving PPAP deliverables through customer portals during launches. Occasional travel is required to support programs with OEMs.

Formación

• Experience in the automotive industry is required.
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP and customer-specific requirements.
• Willingness to travel for program launches and audits.
• Knowledge of AIAG standards and quality tooling.
• Experience with GD&T, MSA, and statistical methods.

Responsabilidades

• Lead APQP activities and deliverables through customer portals.

• Lead and follow-up of CSRs and customer requirements.
• Develop and validate Control Plans, work instructions, and checklists.
• Review engineering drawings and ensure GD&T compliance.
• Manage quality during product launches and supplier interactions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer specs.

Objective:

To lead the introduction of new products and processes, engineering changes stablishing as a baseline the customer APQP, PPAP and Customer Specific Requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Quote of GD&T gages, quality tools and other equipments for the verification of products and processes..
• Definition and development of Significant Characteristics controls at our processes or other locations.
• Analysis of Source Packages and Customer Specifics for their distribution to involved teams during the launch of a program
• Support during Product Design reviews and Process Design Reviews.
• Review and authorization of engineering drawings.
• Development of GD&T gauges.
• Leadership and follow-up of APQP activities and deliverables through customer portals.
• Leadership and follow-up of PPAP activities and deliverables through customer portals.
• Leadership and follow-up of ADVP&R and Product Specifications.
• Leadership and follow-up of Pass-Through Characteristics.
• Development of process documentation such as Control Plans (CP), Work Instructions, Checklists, studies, etc.
• Development of product and process validations.
• MSA and Calibration for GD&T gauges.
• Development and implementation of SPC.
• Leadership, management, and follow-up of quality complaints during launch phases.
• Leadership of scorecards during new customer launches.
• Leadership and follow-up of Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs).
• Customer management (Priority: Ford, BMW, Volvo Car. / Second priority: Volvo Truck, Daimler, Honda, Tesla, GM)

Qualifications:

• Experience in the automotive industry (required).
• Experience using the Customer Portals.
• Availability to travel.
• APQP.
• PPAP.
• GD&T.
• ADVP&R and PV Testing Development.
• SPC.
• CPK & PPK.
• Process Controls Definition.
• AIAG.

The position is located in Plant 2, located in Parque Industrial Los Aztecas.
