ZF Group in Mexico is seeking an Advance Manufacturing Engineer with 5+ years in industrialization to drive design for assembly, new launches, and process improvements.

You will collaborate across Quality, Maintenance, and Manufacturing to specify equipment, manage capital and tooling, and ensure capacity alignment using tools like Power BI.

A strong Lean and Core Tools background, fluent English, and AME experience are required; American visa is a requirement.

Formación

• Engineering degree with 5+ years in industrialization and process engineering.
• Mandatory experience in complex assembly and new product launches.
• Strong manufacturing background with Lean, PFMEA, MSA, TPM core tools.

Responsabilidades

• Support global Design for Assembly processes and document improvements.
• Lead industrialization activities for new products and plant launches.
• Define equipment specs and support supplier selection with cross-functional teams.
• Validate capacity and output vs. demand using Power BI.
• Manage capital and quotation processes including cost modeling.
• Drive equipment build tracking, qualification and gate reviews.
• Develop PFMEA and manufacturing process documentation; support CTQ changes.

What can you look forward to as Advance Manufacturing Engineer:

• Support global Design for Assembly processes, including validation of assumptions, documentation, implementation, and continuous improvement (lessons learned, workshops).
• Lead industrialization activities for new products/processes, including risk assessment, layouts , Lean Line Design) prototypes, and plant launch support.
• Define and develop equipment and tooling specifications in collaboration with Quality, Maintenance, and Manufacturing Engineering; support supplier selection.
• Ensure plant capacity alignment by validating equipment availability and output vs. demand using tools like Power BI. (Nice to have)
• Manage capital and quotation processes (AMEs), including cost modeling for tooling, equipment, labor, capacity, and launch timing.
• Drive equipment build tracking, machine qualification and Global development process gate reviews, ensuring technical readiness (cycle time, quality, delivery).
• Develop and maintain PFMEA, manufacturing process documentation (flows, instructions), and support CTQ and change management processes.

Your Profile as Advance Manufacturing Engineer:

• Engineering /Min 5 years work experience with Industrialization and Process Engineer background
• Complex Assembly knowledge / New launches experiences is mandatory
• Strong manufacturing background (Lean/Continuous Improvement, PFMEA, MSA, TPM, Core Tools, etc.)
• Leadership skills (multidisciplinary team and suppliers)
• Fluent English written and spoken
• Nice to have: Work experience in AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) background process specific
• AMERICAN VISA is a required.
