Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an Accounts Payable Staff in Querétaro to process, code, and reconcile invoices and vendor statements, ensuring timely payments. You will investigate discrepancies, support month-end close, and generate AP reports such as KPI, GRNI, and aging.

You will also respond to queries, maintain procedures, and train junior staff. The role requires 1–3 years of experience, a finance-related degree or in progress, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant experience.
• Economics/Finance secondary studies or Bachelor's degree (or in progress) required; economics studies advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English (and other required language).

Responsibilities

• Check, sort, code and match invoices.
• Process non-PO invoices per Delegation of Authority.
• Monitor and reconcile vendor statements for up-to-date payments.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Participate in month-end closing.
• Ensure data accuracy.
• Handle queries via email or phone (internal and external).
• Review payment runs for accuracy.
• Produce monthly reports (KPI, GRNI, AP Aging).
• Follow up on aged items (GRNI, AP Aging).
• Provide trainings to Associate and Staff Accountants.
• Maintain up-to-date Desktop Procedure Documentation.
• Identify process deficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Participate in projects as required.
