Job summary

PPG Industries in Querétaro, MX is seeking an Account Payable Specialist to manage AP for multiple entities and vendors. You will analyze workflows, establish vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments per procedures.

You will handle invoice processing, PO comparisons, and posting of accounting transactions, working in a team environment with Monday–Thursday in-person and remote Fridays where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• Advanced English level required due to US/Canada client base.
• Experience as Accounts Payable Specialist and basic bookkeeping experience required.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting software is required.

Job description

As a Account Payable Specialist you will assist to both internal and supplier contacts for documents into the account payable. You will perform daily analysis, reporting and discrepancy following activities to ensure timing payments.

Main Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
• Analyze workflow processes
• Establish and maintain relationships with our vendors
• Ensure bills and payroll are paid while following departmental procedures
• Process due invoices for payments
• Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• Process transactions and performing accounting responsibilities such as recording entries.

Qualifications

• English level - advanced since our client is in USA and Canada.
• Experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist and bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Experience with basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
• Knowledge of relevant accounting software
• Associate's degree in finance, Business or a related field.
