Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst – Brazil to join our Global Business Services team in a hybrid Guadalajara workplace. You will manage end-to-end AP activities for Brazil, including invoice processing, payment support, and vendor inquiries, while upholding internal controls and SOX compliance.

This role requires 2–3 years of AP-related experience, fluency in Portuguese, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Treasury, Procurement, or other finance-related functions.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with Pivot Tables, reporting, dashboards, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end Accounts Payable activities for Brazil, including invoice processing, payment support, expense review, and vendor account management.
• Review and verify invoices and financial documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Support payment file preparation, advances processing, and resolution of payment-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve inquiries and ensure excellent customer service.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, audit support, and SOX compliance requirements.
• Monitor operational performance, identify process improvement opportunities, and support automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
