Ennismore in Cancún, Mexico, is seeking an accounting professional to manage journal entries, AR/AP, reconciliations, and monthly closings. You will support the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with deadlines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with 1–2 years of experience, proficient Excel skills, and good English. Opportunity for growth and process improvements within a dynamic team.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and 1–2 years of relevant post-graduate experience preferred.
• Intermediate English preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications (Excel and Word) for data entry, analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate and convey financial information clearly.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn for continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Records and processes journal entries to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Maintains accounts receivable: invoicing, payment recording and cash application.
• Maintains accounts payable: vendor invoices and balance reconciliations.
• Performs bank and general ledger reconciliations for accuracy.
• Assists in preparing balance sheets, income statements and other reports per policies.
• Supports review and recording of expenses, payroll and other financial transactions.
• Assists with monthly and annual financial closings.
• Prepares and submits financial and accounting reports.
• Ensures compliance with closing schedules and reporting deadlines.
• Maintains accurate accounting records and data integrity.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance systems and processes.
• Performs other accounting duties and ad hoc tasks as required.
