Ennismore in Cancun seeks an Accountant to join its growing global collective. The role will record journal entries, manage receivables and payables, and support monthly and annual closings to deliver accurate financial statements.

The successful candidate will use accounting software and MS Office, analyze financial data, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely reporting in line with policies. A bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; 1–2 years of post-grad work experience preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (Excel and Word) for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and reporting.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn and improve processes.

Responsabilités

• Record and process journal entries to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Maintain accounts receivable: issue invoices, record payments, and apply cash.
• Maintain accounts payable: process vendor invoices and reconcile balances.
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations for accuracy.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other reports per policies.
• Support closing activities for monthly and annual periods.
