JBT Marel Mexico is seeking an Accountant to support the day-to-day Finance operations, with a focus on Accounts Payable. You will review, validate and process supplier invoices, ensure proper documentation, approvals and policy compliance, and manage Concur expense reports.

You will support AP payment cycles, vendor statements, reconciliations and month-notes close, prepare accruals, and assist with intercompany reconciliations while maintaining audit trails for internal controls.

As our Accountant you will be supporting JBTM Mexico which has a primary operational focus on Accounts Payable and supports the day-to-day Finance operation. Key responsibilities include: Review, validate and support the processing of supplier invoices, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, accounting treatment and compliance with company policies. Manage and review Concur expense reports, including validation of receipts, business purpose, expense coding, approval flow and policy compliance. Support employee reimbursement processes and follow up on pending, rejected or incomplete expense reports. Support AP payment cycles, including invoice readiness, vendor follow-up, payment documentation and coordination with Treasury as needed. Review and follow up on vendor statements, open items, discrepancies and aging balances. Prepare and support monthly accruals, prepaid expenses and AP-related month-end close activities. Reconcile AP-related accounts and investigate financial discrepancies. Support intercompany reconciliations and follow up on open balances. Maintain proper audit trail and documentation for internal control, audit and local tax compliance purposes. Resolve queries from internal stakeholders, vendors, Finance, Procurement, Operations and other business areas.
