Job description

Account Manager Quick Commerce, Amazon Now MX

Amazon Now is looking for an Account Manager to drive operational excellence and commercial growth for our Quick Commerce business in Mexico. This role is responsible for managing complex 3P partnership relationships where business problems, account strategy, and operational direction may not be clearly defined. You will operate with limited guidance, designing solutions and managing plans in the absence of established SOPs for a business in early growth phase.

The ideal candidate understands how technology-driven businesses operate — from product and marketplace dynamics to operational execution — and can translate that understanding into clear priorities and action plans with strategic partners. You will own the relationship with our operating partner, defining shared goals, driving joint planning cadences, and holding execution to agreed performance targets across key business inputs.

You will build and maintain operating plans with measurable success criteria tied to growth and customer experience metrics, provide data-driven recommendations that improve both the partner and end-customer experience, and proactively identify opportunities to scale the business across new verticals, geographies, or operational models. You will continuously monitor business performance through regular reviews, adjust priorities based on what the data tells you, and ensure partners are equipped with the right tools, processes, and visibility to execute at pace.

Key job responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end 3P partnership relationship with the partner, managing business reviews, operational escalations, and joint strategic planning for a business where direction is not always defined
  • Understand and define your accounts' decisions and priorities with Amazon, driving relevant activities (planning, execution, analysis) that support achieving shared goals
  • Create plans with clear, measurable success criteria across the four operational pillars: selection depth, product availability, pricing competitiveness, and delivery performance
  • Lead weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews (WBR, MBR, QBR) and deep-dive analyses to identify root causes, track KPIs, and drive corrective actions
  • Educate partners on tools, processes, and available resources
  • Proactively mitigate risks, clear blockers, and elevate appropriately while meeting timelines and minimizing disruption to partner teams
  • Assess SOPs and playbooks to drive enhancements, improvements, and the addition of relevant use cases for a rapidly evolving quick commerce operation
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Tech, Marketing, Category, and Finance teams to align on joint initiatives and influence partner team goals
