A leading ecommerce solutions provider in Oaxaca is looking for an experienced Account Director to lead operations in the Americas and manage a team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of ecommerce experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to build client relationships. Formación

Overview

The Account Director role brings a mixture of account management and team management activities. The mission of this role is to lead and inspire the team to achieve desired objectives, budgets and quality and maintain high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a dedicated part of the business from an operational point of view (Americas)
  • Managing a team - coaching and mentoring them to deliver high quality projects
  • Creating strategy and being an advisor in the field of ecommerce development to the clients and the team
  • Building long-term relationships with clients by extensive analyse and understanding of their business needs, evaluation and development of the client (like business reviews and reporting on the KPI’s), improving continuously the overall client experience
  • Support the sales team with info and input for pitches
  • Coming up with innovative ideas to run the business and also execute them
  • Day-to-day analyse of team efficiency and ability to recognize and deliver improvements to people and processes
  • Serving as a role model and knowledge expert, training and developing people within the team, provide feedback and performance review, encourage to professional growth
  • Manage the budgets and P&L of the Americas projects and report on them to the board
  • Leading client accounts with overall responsibility for the client agency relationship and continuously improving the overall client experience
  • Making sure the projects are profitable and are growing
Qualifications
  • Passionate, ambitious individual with a business-oriented, strategic approach
  • Min. 5 years of supervising / team management experience (min 5-7 people team), passion and desire to develop leadership skills
  • At least 5 years of experience in eCommerce
  • Experienced in project management & working with eRetailers (especially Amazon & Walmart)
  • Experienced in working with various, international clients on various projects and ability to build long-term relationships with clients
  • Experience in strategic business consulting
  • Understanding of budgeting, reporting and P&L
  • Fluency in English - at least C1 level
