Job summary

Aaalmutawa is seeking a Workshop Controller to efficiently manage workshop administration, invoicing, and payment credibility. The role focuses on accurate order routing, data entry, and coordination with teams to ensure timely repairs. It requires a mechanical/technical engineering background and 3-4 years in automotive settings.

Qualifications

• Estimating the quantifiable characteristics of products.
• Estimating sizes, distances and quantities and determining time.
• Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.

Responsibilities

• Distribute repair orders to technicians with appropriate skill level.
• Record purchase orders and repair details in the production system.
• Settle supply consignment notes with repair orders and prepare for payment.
• Issue invoices from repair orders and allocate payment codes.
• Ensure all jobs and merged fitted parts are accounted for.
• Coordinate with team leaders to allocate orders by expertise.
• Follow up with service teams on progress of repairs and services.
• Load data into the system for clocking repairs by technicians.
• Monitor availability of parking space for workshop.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct Manager.

JobResponsibilities:

• Distributerepair order to the technician, with the correct skill level to carry out therepair.
• Recordpurchase order and repair details on the production system.
• Settlesupply consignment notes with the repair order and prepare for payment.
• Issuethe Invoice from the repair order and allocate payment code for variouscustomers.
• Ensurethat all jobs and merge fitted parts accordingly.
• Coordinatewith Team Leaders to distribute the repair orders to the workshop teamsdepending on skill and automotive area of expertise.
• Follow-upwith the service teams on the progress of repairs and services.
• Loaddata into the system to allow Technician team and tool keeper to clock repairswithin required timings.
• Monitorthe availability of the parking lot space.
• Performing any other tasks as assigned by his/her direct Manager

Education

• DegreeorDiploma in Mechanical / TechnicalEngineering or ITI

Experience:

• Minimum3-4 years of experience within Similar role in Automotive sector.
