Job summary

Aaalmutawa in Kuwait seeks an experienced automotive technician to diagnose vehicle faults and perform repairs per supervisor instructions. You will road test vehicles, inspect for additional work, and secure approvals for necessary parts and services.

The role emphasizes efficiency, safety, and adherence to company standards, with a focus on maintaining a clean work area and providing excellent customer service. Minimum 3–4 years in automotive is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of auto electrical and auto-mechanical parts and auto-components.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of computer literacy and workshop operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Road test and advise the technician on any fault found or any remedial work required.
• Inspect each vehicle for additional work requirements.
• Secure approval from the Workshop Supervisor for parts replacement and/or additional work.
• Notify Workshop Supervisor ahead of time if the job completion deadline cannot be achieved.
• Maintain control of replaced parts in accord with company procedures (warranty, bags, core returns).
• Exercise care of customer’s vehicles, using covers and mats to avoid soiling interior.
• Inspect for unreported damage or personal articles and advise supervisor of irregularities.
• Create effective use of special tools and equipment to improve work quality and productivity.
• Maintain current product knowledge by reading manufacturer publications.
• Maintain relationships with customers by meeting and exceeding their potential.
• Assist in maintaining work area in a clean condition.
• Use safety equipment provided by the Company and notify supervisor of unsafe practices.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by direct Manager

Education

• DegreeorDiploma in Mechanical / TechnicalEngineering or ITI

Experience:

• Minimum3-4 years of experience within Similar role in Automotive sector.
