Job summary

InterContinental 62s Group plc in Kuwait City is seeking a seasoned Guest Relations Lead to ensure Priority Club members receive full benefits and VIP guests receive exceptional recognition and service. You will oversee VIP room readiness, maintain repeat guest history systems, and coordinate VIP events and communications with other departments to maximize guest satisfaction.

The role requires a strong sales mindset, adherence to brand standards, and the ability to train staff on hotel amenities

Responsibilities

• Monitor guest relations personnel to ensure Priority Club members consistently receive all benefits, repeat guests and other VIP’s receive special recognition and service
• Inspects all VIP rooms prior to arrival
• Oversee maintenance of efficient repeat guest history system
• Promote Inter-Hotel sales and in-house facilities
• Conduct regular Priority Club and VIP guest cocktail parties and social engagements to improve on service delivery
• Review arrival lists for all arrivals and VIPs to check room allocations, amenities, and special requests
• Organize and conduct regular meetings for all Guest Relations staff to facilitate communications and smooth operations
• Supervises Guest Relations Team to ensure a consistently high standard of customer service following InterContinental guidelines
• Ensures that staff have a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and local area
• Informs other departments on arrival times, special requests and VIP amenities setup; reviews VIP amenities based on guest comments
• Monitors enrolment and correct handling of Priority Club Membership in the system
• Maintain security of customer and personnel information and adhere to company credit policies
