Job summary

Egis invites a professional HR Officer to Kuwait City to support employee relations, recruitment, and compliance with Kuwait labor regulations. You will partner with the HR team to ensure smooth processes and a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of HR experience in Kuwait (engineering/construction/consultancy preferred), a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, and strong English communication. Proficiency with HR systems and data analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years of HR experience in Kuwait, preferably within an engineering, construction, or consultancy company.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait labor laws and employment regulations.
• Proficiency with HR management systems and software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English.
• Proficient interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally.
• Ability to analyze HR data and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment lifecycle, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Kuwait labor laws and organizational policies.
• Administer payroll processes, benefits programs, and employee compensation in coordination with relevant departments.
• Support performance management activities, including performance reviews, feedback sessions, and employee development initiatives.
• Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure organizational compliance with local employment regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in labor laws.
• Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics to support management decision-making.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support to the HR department and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries.
