Job summary

Egis in Kuwait City is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and delivery of structural solutions across major infrastructure projects. You will drive feasibility to detailed design and support construction, while mentoring junior engineers and championing innovative, sustainable approaches.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in structural engineering, chartership progress, and proficiency in SAP2000/ETABS/STAAD.Pro, with strong English communication and site‑visit willingness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status or progress toward chartership.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects from conception through completion.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to undertake site visits and field inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design of infrastructure projects from feasibility to construction support.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, specifications, drawings and tender documentation.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, process and geotechnical teams for integrated design.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage multidisciplinary design teams.
• Support procurement, tender evaluations, and contractor engagement.
• Provide technical oversight during construction and commissioning phases.
