Description: We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of running the kitchen, including food preparation, recipe development, ordering supplies, and more. The ideal candidate should have excellent culinary experience, be organized and detail-oriented. The ability to multitask and work under pressure is essential. We are open to considering candidates with minimal work experience as long as they have a passion for cooking and a commitment to achieving excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management including menu planning, food preparation, ordering supplies, etc.
• Ensure that all recipes are followed correctly and that standards of quality are met on each dish.
• Perform regular kitchen maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment and restocking ingredients when necessary.
• Supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure that they are performing their tasks correctly and efficiently.
• Monitor food costs and wastage levels in order to maintain cost effectiveness of the kitchen operations.
