Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer for an immediate assignment on a 400 kV Overhead Transmission Line project in Kuwait. You will supervise civil construction activities, foundations for transmission towers, and coordinate with subcontractors and surveyors to maintain quality and schedule.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 5+ years in HV/OHL projects, reads drawings fluently, and ensures strict safety and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; minimum 5 years in HV/OHL/civil works.
• Experience with transmission tower foundations preferred.
• Experience on 400 kV projects highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction activities for transmission line tower foundations.
• Coordinate excavation, foundation prep, reinforcement, formwork, concreting, grouting and backfilling.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, consultants and other disciplines.
• Review civil/structural drawings and raise issues as needed.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and approvals with client/consultant.
• Monitor material quality and workmanship.
• Track daily site progress and manpower productivity.
• Prepare daily and weekly site reports and maintain records.
• Coordinate with Planning Engineer on progress and upcoming activities.
• Ensure HSE compliance across all civil activities.
