Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HV/OHL projects.
• Experience with 400 kV transmission line projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of tower erection, conductor stringing, and OPGW installation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specs, and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical construction for 400 kV OHL.
• Oversee tower erection and electrical installation activities.
• Coordinate conductor, earth wire, and OPGW stringing and sagging.
• Supervise installation of insulators, hardware, and line fittings.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Monitor subcontractors, manpower, equipment, materials, and progress.
• Review drawings and resolve site technical issues.
• Prepare daily/weekly site reports and RFIs.
• Coordinate with civil, safety, QA/QC, and client teams.
• Ensure HV standards and project requirements are met.

Project: 400 kV Overhead Transmission Line

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in similar HV/OHL projects

Joining: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities for the 400 kV overhead transmission line.
• Supervise tower erection and associated electrical installation activities.
• Coordinate conductor, earth wire, and OPGW stringing, sagging, tensioning, and installation activities.
• Supervise installation of insulators, fittings, clamps, spacers, vibration dampers, and other line hardware.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and utility requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, equipment, materials, and work progress.
• Review drawings and technical documents and resolve site technical issues.
• Prepare daily and weekly site reports and follow up on RFIs and technical submissions.
• Coordinate closely with civil, planning, safety, QA/QC, and client/consultant teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HV transmission line standards and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar high-voltage overhead transmission line projects.
• Experience in 400 kV transmission line projects is highly preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of tower erection, conductor stringing, sagging, tensioning, OPGW installation, and transmission line hardware.
• Good understanding of HV transmission line construction methods and quality requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Immediate availability is mandatory.
