Job summary

Private Company seeks an experienced Electrical Site Engineer for a 400 kV Overhead Transmission Line project in Kuwait. Immediate joining for candidates with 5+ years HV/OHL experience.

Role focuses on supervising tower erection, conductor stringing, and hardware installation, ensuring compliance with drawings and standards. Kuwait-based position with strong coordination across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HV/OHL projects.
• Experience with 400 kV transmission line projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of tower erection, conductor stringing, and OPGW installation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specs, and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical construction for 400 kV OHL.
• Oversee tower erection and electrical installation activities.
• Coordinate conductor, earth wire, and OPGW stringing and sagging.
• Supervise installation of insulators, hardware, and line fittings.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Monitor subcontractors, manpower, equipment, materials, and progress.
• Review drawings and resolve site technical issues.
• Prepare daily/weekly site reports and RFIs.
• Coordinate with civil, safety, QA/QC, and client teams.
• Ensure HV standards and project requirements are met.
