Job summary

National Contracting Company is seeking an experienced HSE Lead to manage health, safety and environmental programs on heavy electrical construction projects in Kuwait. You will drive risk assessments, conduct inspections, lead toolbox talks, and participate in incident investigations to prevent incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a minimum of five years in HSE, with preference for OHTL/EPC experience and Kuwait-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
• 5+ years of overall work experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
• Experience on Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects, EPC or electrical construction preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, regulations, risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Experience in site safety inspections, toolbox talks, safety training, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with project safety procedures and company HSE policies.
• Conduct site safety inspections and toolbox talks to promote safe work.
• Lead safety trainings and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain alignment with applicable statutory HSE requirements and standards.
• Ensure adherence to project safety procedures across OHTL/EPC activities.
