L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering in Kuwait is urgently seeking Safety Officers to manage health, safety and environmental issues during assembly, construction stringing, and commissioning of high-voltage power lines.

The role involves supervising piling, inspecting worksites, tower assembly/erection, stringing, and enforcing PTW systems, with a strong focus on hazard identification, incident investigation and maintaining EHS records.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, OHS, or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC and IOSH Managing Safely preferred.
• 5–10 years of EHS experience in power transmission or electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical hazards, fall protection and emergency response.

Aufgaben

• Supervise piling activities.
• Inspect worksites.
• Oversee tower assembly activities.
• Oversee tower erection.
• Coordinate stringing operations.
• Manage stringing equipment.
• Oversee excavation works daily.
• Conduct HIRA for high‑risk activities.
• Enforce PTW systems and compliance.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety inductions.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses; write reports.
• Maintain safety records and EHS statistics.
