Job summary

National Contracting Company in Kuwait seeks an experienced HSE professional to lead health, safety and environment initiatives on overhead transmission line projects. You will ensure compliance with HSE standards, conduct risk assessments, and lead site safety inspections and toolbox talks.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and at least 5 years of HSE experience, with Kuwait Society of Engineers membership preferred. Candidates already in Kuwait are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).
• Minimum 5 years of overall work experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
• Experience in Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects, preferably within EPC or electrical construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, occupational safety regulations, risk assessment, and hazard identification.
• Experience in site safety inspections, toolbox talks, safety training, incident investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Ability to ensure compliance with project safety procedures, company HSE policies, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) membership is mandatory.
