Job summary

Worley is seeking a Lead Safety Engineer (Principal HSE Specialist) to oversee health, safety and environmental initiatives in Kuwait's Ahmadi region. You will develop and implement HSE policies, lead risk assessments, train staff, investigate incidents and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, substantial Oil & Gas experience, and multiple HSE certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with Oil & Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical experience.
• Experience with design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of Oil/Gas facilities.
• Experience with HSE management systems, reporting and audits; strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and risk registers.
• Conduct risk assessments, investigations and training.
• Monitor performance metrics and report findings to stakeholders.
• Promote sustainability and ensure regulatory compliance.
