Job summary
Egis Kuwait is seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to provide technical leadership on major infrastructure projects in the region. You will drive geotechnical design, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver safe and innovative solutions.

Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or international credential
- Minimum 15 years of consulting experience in geotechnical engineering on major infrastructure
- Extensive experience designing foundations for large-scale infrastructure (airports, bridges, rail, energy)
- Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary teams on geotechnical projects
- Knowledge of geotechnical codes, standards, and regional practices
- Site inspection and construction management experience
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (Plaxis, GeoStudio)
- Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences
- Solid project management: multiple projects, deadlines, budgets
- Experience motivating and developing junior engineers
- Ability to develop innovative geotechnical solutions
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on major infrastructure geotechnical projects
- Conduct design analysis, field investigation planning, and reporting
- Manage geotechnical investigations from inception to completion
- Perform site reviews during concept, investigation, and construction phases
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on joint proposals and projects
- Serve as client liaison with government/regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior staff and support professional development
- Contribute to business development and client relationships
- Prepare technical presentations, proposals, and reports
- Stay updated with geotechnical technologies and regional practices
