Job summary

Egis Group in Kuwait City seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and delivery of infrastructure projects on a full-time, on-site basis. You will manage technical delivery, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of structural experience, Chartered status or progress toward chartership, and strong proficiency in reinforced concrete and steel design, with hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status or progress toward achieving chartership.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects from conception through completion.
• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects and teams.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel design principles.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (SAP2000/ETABS/STAAD.Pro).
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site logistics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design of infrastructure projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, specs, drawings, and tender documents.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and geotechnical teams.
• Manage project delivery and multidisciplinary teams; act as Project Manager or Design Lead.
• Mentor junior engineers and support bid preparation and business development.
