Job summary

Egis seeks an Assistant Resident Engineer for a major port project in Kuwait. You will support the Resident Engineer in overseeing project management, construction management, and supervision, ensuring progress aligns with schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years' civil engineering experience, preferably in port or marine work, with strong PM skills, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and willingness to relocate to Kuwait for the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in port or marine projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and construction management techniques.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing project management, construction management and supervision for a major port project.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress.
• Coordinate with all project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance.
• Support Resident Engineer in liaising with local authorities and regulators.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards are met; assist in QA/QC activities.
• Monitor project risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
