Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our port and terminal operations team in Kuwait City. You will oversee mechanical systems important to daily port operations and lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure safety, efficiency, and performance.

You will design and maintain large-scale port equipment, manage budgets, and develop preventive maintenance programs in line with international maritime standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years in port/terminal or heavy industrial operations.
• Proven ability to design and maintain large mechanical systems used in port environments.
• Strong CAD skills and familiarity with port equipment such as cranes and conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for port and terminal operations, including cranes and conveyors.
• Conduct analyses and troubleshoot mechanical equipment to identify issues and corrective actions.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and lifecycle management of mechanical assets to ensure reliability.
