Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim in Kuwait is seeking a Section Manager Dairy to lead assortment, pricing and freshness in the Hypermarket. You will ensure quality standards, drive sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service within your section.

You will monitor competitor activities, negotiate promotions with suppliers, manage the department's assets, and maintain competitive ranges. Strong communication, time management and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Commerce or Finance required.
• 2+ years in Retail Business, 1+ year in an operations supervisory role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Good time management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report competitor activities (prices, range, promotional activities) to ensure competitive advantage.
• Negotiate internal promotions with suppliers to reinforce discount image within the section.
• Oversee the establishment of a competitive assortment offer.
• Stay informed about competitor activities in the store’s catchment area and take necessary measures.
• Oversee commercial policy agreed for the store pricing.
• Ensure proper conservation, utilization and profitability of the department’s assets.
• Oversee the products assortment in the section.
• Support comparative studies within the section that can contribute to the efficiency of the commercial concepts.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Section Manager Dairy is responsible for implementing quality, range and freshness standards of offered goods to attract customers in order to achieve the set sales targets. The role holder is also responsible for exceptional customer service is delivered within the section.
