Job summary

Anton Oilfield Services Group seeks a Production Controller to lead shift teams and ensure safe, efficient plant operations in a high-demand environment.

You will monitor crude oil and gas processing, manage utilities, and drive process optimization while maintaining HSE standards and accurate shift reporting. Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential for reliable, continuous production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in a related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years (Bachelor) or 12+ years (Diploma) in oil & gas or process plant ops.
• Experience with shift supervision and process optimization.
• Knowledge of crude oil, gas processing, utilities, power and steam generation, or sulphur recovery operations advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shift teams to operate the plant safely, efficiently, and reliably.
• Achieve production targets while maintaining quality and HSE standards.
• Monitor and control plant operations, including crude oil, sour gas, produced water, and utilities.
• Operate and monitor process units such as Sulphur Recovery, Tail Gas, power generation, steam generation, and plant utilities.
• Monitor operating parameters, identify abnormalities, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain stable operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other functions to support reliable plant operation.
• Maintain accurate operational records and prepare shift reports.
• Use computerized operating and maintenance systems to monitor plant performance and support operational activities.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor's Degree holders: minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas or process plant operations.
• Diploma holders: minimum 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas or process plant operations.
• Strong experience in plant operations, shift supervision, and process optimization.
• Experience with crude oil, gas processing, utilities, power and steam generation, or sulphur recovery operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance and plant management systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
