Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Mail Clerk to support registered mail operations at Ali Al Salem Air Base (ASAB), Kuwait. The incumbent ensures secure processing, documentation, and delivery with strict chain-of-custody controls in a high-tempo overseas environment.

Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required; government contract roles may include benefits and full-time status. Training on USPS, DoD, and installation policies will be provided.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Minimum of two years handling and processing registered mail.
• Minimum of two years using USPS POS/RSS.
• Knowledge of registered-mail accountability and chain-of-custody requirements.
• Ability to maintain records, reconcile inventory, and identify discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, sort, secure, dispatch, and deliver registered mail and other accountable mail items.
