Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids seeks a Project Management Engineering Professional (Project Lead Engineer) in Kuwait City to lead engineering deliverables for GIS/AIS substations, coordinate with civil/MEP teams, and manage tender and site activities. The position requires broad domain knowledge, BOQ estimation, RFQ handling, FAT coordination, and active stakeholder liaison

Qualifications

• 14+ years of work experience in project engineering for utilities.
• 6–8 years in a lead role preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required as a baseline qualification.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of project engineering activities – preparation and review of deliverables, monitoring scope and change orders.
• Technical discussions with stakeholders, liaising on engineering matters and monitoring engineering effort for projects and tenders.
• Review of equipment specifications and BOQs for supplier enquiries and FAT coordination.
