Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II - Powerplant/Engine for back shop work on the T700/701C/D and T55-714. You will perform maintenance and repair of major engine assemblies and components, inspect turbine blades, and execute blade blending and replacement in the powerplant back shop.

The role requires five years of aviation maintenance experience, plus two years on UH60, CH47 and AH64 if you have an A&P, or three years without an A&P.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience on MDS UH60, CH47, and AH64 preferred.
• Passports: US for travel; ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of major engine assemblies (T700/701C/D, T55-714).
• Inspect turbine blades and perform blade blending/replacement in powerplants.
• Disassemble/inspect parts; perform engine removal and quick-change assembly tasks.
