Job summary

ADES Holding Company seeks an experienced mechanical technician to diagnose and repair complex rig equipment, ensuring reliable power, hydraulics, and safety systems. You will work closely with the Senior Tool Pusher and technical maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maintain regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands‑on expertise with engines, generators, pumps, and hydraulic systems, plus strong communication and teamwork to coordinate maintenance, inspections, and PM/CM activities

Qualifications

• Formal training as mechanic, apprenticeship or technical degree preferred.
• Experience with oilfield mechanical systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems in equipment and implement solutions to restore function and minimize downtime.
• Communicate equipment issues to the Senior Tool Pusher and maintenance team.
• Maintain rig mechanical equipment including engines, generators, pumps, compressors, cranes and hydraulic systems.
• Perform planned maintenance, record work orders, and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures.
• Oversee rig moves: secure, transport, reassemble equipment and verify system readiness for drilling.
