Hudson Manpower Inc. is seeking a Commis III – Indian Cuisine in Kuwait to assist senior chefs in preparing authentic Indian dishes and maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety.

The role requires basic knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and a willingness to learn in a professional kitchen. The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have teamwork skills, and be prepared to follow standard recipes and mise en place requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Previous hotel/restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Indian spices, gravies and traditional dishes.

Responsabilités

• Assist senior chefs in daily preparation and production of Indian cuisine.
• Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, spices and other cooking essentials.
• Assist in preparing curries, gravies, dals, rice dishes and other traditional preparations.
• Support preparation of Indian breads and accompaniments under supervision.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes and cooking instructions.
• Maintain mise en place and ensure ingredients are ready before service.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling and rotation of food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations and equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
• Work with the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Job Summary

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Commis III – Indian Cuisine to join a professional kitchen team in Kuwait. The selected candidate will assist senior chefs in preparing authentic Indian dishes while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, spices, gravies, and traditional Indian dishes, along with a willingness to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior chefs in the daily preparation and production of Indian cuisine.
