Abroad Work in Kuwait City is seeking a skilled Head Chef to lead our Indian cuisine kitchen. You will oversee all cooking, menu development, training and inventory control, ensuring consistent quality and cost effectiveness.

The role requires a strong leader who can manage a busy team while maintaining high standards and safety compliance. We require at least 5 years in Indian cuisine, excellent English communication, and a proven ability to mentor staff, plan events, and optimize food costs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a chef, specializing in Indian cuisine.
• Proven Head Chef or similar in Indian restaurant.
• Knowledge of traditional Indian dishes, techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong English communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of food cost control strategies.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of traditional Indian dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency in all food items. You will also be responsible for managing and training kitchen staff, maintaining inventory and food cost control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Salary: $1400 USD per month

Location: Al-Kuwait (Preference for candidates currently residing in Kuwait)
