Job summary

Kay and Associates, Inc. seeks a capable hardware/software support technician in Kuwait to assist KAF computer systems, including IETM program and AME environments. You will work with CMS Site Manager and KAF officers to diagnose issues, install software, and maintain equipment across sites.

The role requires four years’ hardware support experience, familiarity with Windows/DOS/Novell networks, and strong troubleshooting skills in a dynamic technical environment. A+ is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

Four years of hardware support experience, including IETM/AME environments.
Knowledge of Windows/ DOS/ Novell, Windows 2003/XP, Microsoft Office.
Experience with LANs/WANs, hardware repair, and peripherals.
Experience in a Navy/aviation-like environment is preferred; security clearance not required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate hardware/software troubleshooting, installation, repair and problem diagnosis.
Provide timely user support; log, track and report requests and status.
Install, test, and maintain PC hardware/software systems and perform diagnostics.
Assist in data collection and documentation for host systems and networks.
Support a diverse user community including officers and CMS personnel; prepare training materials.
