Job summary

Leidos Sentinel program seeks a Systems Administrator at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, to support US Army Central Command G2 with IT repair, maintenance, and network administration across a Microsoft Enterprise environment. The role covers Windows servers/desktops, Active Directory, VMware, NetApp storage, and security patching, with 12-hour shifts, 24/7 on-call, seven days a week, on-site in Kuwait.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 8+ years experience.
• Active TS/SCI required.
• Active 8570/8140 IAT II Baseline Certification (Security+ CE).
• Active Computing Environment certification (Azure Administrator Associate, NetApp) or ability to obtain after hire.
• Systems administration/engineering experience.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on-site, 7 days per week.
• On-call 24x7 including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows servers, desktops, and laptops across networks.
• Manage users/groups/permissions with Active Directory.
• Administer and maintain VMware environments and physical hosts.
• Administer and maintain NetApp storage across locations.
• Use PowerShell for troubleshooting and automation.
• Implement disaster recovery/COOP plans with Network team.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting for datacenter connectivity.
• Document service structures and architecture; support cybersecurity accreditation.
• Apply security patches and updates (IAVAs, STIGS).
• Mentor junior technicians and participate in special projects.
