Job summary

Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company, seeks a Service Desk Administrator for Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. You will provide front-line support for computer, printer, and network issues, and manage tickets via ServiceNow.

Responsibilities include user account management, early troubleshooting, and reporting. Requires DoD 8570 certifications and US citizenship; on-site shift work and security clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance, or higher.
• High school diploma or GED with at least one year experience in a service desk/help desk environment.
• Prerequisites for State-side applicants: valid US passport, IDP, license, police clearance and medical qualifications.
• Prerequisites for in-country applicants: Kuwait-issued license, valid US passport, visa sponsor and work visa.
• Must be able to pass medical and dental exam.
• Must complete CRC Training for deployment overseas.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service skills are mandatory.
• DoD 8570.01-M baseline and CE certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with site IMO to ensure Service Desk resources are used efficiently.
• Provides immediate, person-to-person support and guides users through ticket submission.
• Handles telephone support for initial troubleshooting and follow-up.
• Manages 12-hour shift duties using ServiceNow and other tools; routes unresolved tickets to IT groups.
• Troubleshoots Microsoft OS issues and site software with IMOs and users.
• Creates logon and email accounts via Microsoft Exchange Server and User Manager.
• Maintains documentation of work performed for reporting.
• Works in a small, continuous-improvement team.
• Completes tasks assigned by Supervisors and Management.
• Performs other duties as required.
