Job summary

Al Jazeera Real Estate is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead on-site facilities management. You will inspect building systems, plan preventive maintenance, supervise technicians, and ensure projects meet quality and safety standards.

The role requires strong budgeting, planning, and communication skills with a track record coordinating multidisciplinary teams. A vocational or high school diploma is expected, with professional certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; vocational degree preferred.
• CMRP or HVAC certification preferred.
• Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC) and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and maintenance needs.
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
• Supervise and train maintenance technicians.
• Supervise technicians during installations, repairs or maintenance; electricians, plumbers, civil, mason, carpenter, painter etc.
• Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation, etc.).
• Contribute to development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate and supervise construction/renovation projects.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
