Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Kuwait is seeking an F&B Supervisor to oversee daily Food & Beverage operations, ensure service aligns with IHG standards, and maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness.

You will lead shift briefings, assign tasks, schedule, coach colleagues, handle guest requests and complaints, manage cash handling and POS transactions, monitor inventory, and collaborate with Kitchen and Banquets to deliver seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in an international hotel.
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and guest service.
• English language required; Arabic skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Food & Beverage operations, ensuring smooth service.
• Lead and coordinate shift briefings, assignments, scheduling and service.
• Deliver prompt, professional, personalised service and respond to guest needs.
• Maintain high standards of F&B presentation, cleanliness and outlet readiness.
• Monitor reservations, guest flow and service efficiency to maximise satisfaction.
• Assist with training, coaching and development of colleagues.
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions and shift closing procedures.
• Assist with inventory, stock control and cost management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Kitchen, Stewarding and Banquets for seamless operations.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
