Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Artificial Lift Systems field specialist in Kuwait to execute ESP and surface equipment operations in the field, ensuring integrity, quality and safety compliance. The role involves pre-commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ESP systems, with on-site execution and collaboration with contract engineering teams.

Candidates should have a technical degree, at least 1 year in oil & gas, and preferably prior artificial lift experience.

Qualifications

• Have a Technical related Degree (Diploma or higher).
• Have at least 1 year of experience in Oil and Gas.
• Have a previous experience in Artificial lift is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installing, running of ESP Equipment including inspecting, modifying and repair of pumps, motors, cables and relevant down hole equipment at Contractor’s base, making connections at surface and operating the ESP equipment to the satisfaction of the Company.
• Carrying out all pre-commissioning checks and tests to ensure successful start-up and continuous operation of ESP Equipment.
• Prevising of expertise for trouble shooting, safety precautions and related matters.
• Repairing of any breakdown and maintenance of the ESP Equipment.
• Installing, operating and maintaining of Y-tool and VSD system.
