Job summary

Baker Hughes in Kuwait invites an Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) Field Specialist to operate ESP and surface equipment in the field, ensuring safety and compliance with client requirements. You will perform installation, running, testing, and pre-commissioning checks, and support maintenance while adhering to quality standards.

The role requires a technical diploma or higher, at least 1 year in oil and gas, and Kuwait work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Technical degree required (Diploma or higher).
• At least 1 year of experience in Oil & Gas.
• Experience with Artificial Lift is preferable.
• Legal right to work in Kuwait required.

Responsibilities

• Install, run ESP Equipment including inspecting, modifying and repairing pumps, motors, cables and downhole equipment.
• Perform pre-commissioning checks and tests for startup and operation of ESP Equipment.
• Provide troubleshooting expertise and safety compliance guidance.
• Repair breakdowns and maintain ESP Equipment.
• Install, operate and maintain Y-tool and VSD system.

As an Artificial Lift Systems – Field Specialist you will be executing the operations of ESP equipment and surface equipment in the field, complying with all the integrity / quality and safety standards, as well as compliance with the regulations of the different clients in all fields.

As an Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) Field Specialist, you'll participate in all technical events, including supporting the BH contract engineering team.

As an Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Installing, running of ESP Equipment including inspecting, modifying and repair of pumps, motors, cables and relevant down hole equipment at Contractor’s base, making connections at surface and operating the ESP equipment to the satisfaction of the Company.
• Carrying out all pre-commissioning checks and tests to ensure successful start-up and continuous operation of ESP Equipment.
• Prevising of expertise for trouble shooting, safety precautions and related matters.
• Repairing of any breakdown and maintenance of the ESP Equipment.
• Installing, operating and maintaining of Y-tool and VSD system.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Technical related Degree (Diploma or higher)
• Have at least 1 year of experience in Oil and Gas
• Hav a previous experience in Artificail lift is preferred
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Kuwait
• Have an industry experience and product line training required in ESP.
