Job summary

Confidential Company in Kuwait seeks an Environmental Supervisor to oversee regulatory compliance, minimize environmental impact, and drive safety programs across refinery and oil & gas construction sites.

Responsibilities include audits, EMS development, incident investigations, and reporting. The role requires NEBOSH certification, 5–7 years of experience, and strong communication and computer skills to prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports. ISO 14001/45001 knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering/Science with environmental focus.
• NEBOSH certified.
• Safety course completed (Safety Diploma).
• 5–7 years in Environment, refineries/O&G construction as Environmental Supervisor.
• Good communication skills and computer literacy for weekly/monthly HSE reports.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure compliance with environmental regulations permits and company policies minimizing environmental impact
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of operational areas to identify potential environmental hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken
• Develop and implement environmental management systems EMS and programs to improve sustainability performance and reduce waste
• Investigate environmental incidents spills and releases determining root causes and recommending preventative measures

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering ( 3 Years full time course) or Science Graduate or Diploma in Environmental Studies from a recognized Institution.
• NEBOSH Certified
• Must have attended a Safety course (Safety Diploma)
• Minimum 5 - 7 Years experience in Environment refinarys / Oil & Gas Construction activities as Environmental Supervisor in a Chemical, Petroleum, or Petrochemical plant.
• Must have Good Communication Skills & Computer Knowledge to Prepare Weekly / Monthly HSE Reports.
• Knowledge about ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 is preferred
